Hi!

I'm Lauren.

I'm a freelance travel photographer, writer, content creator, and the girl behind girlwanderlist.com, a list-based travel blog where I keep it real on the regular. I've traveled to more than 40 countries and thrive on random adventures, offbeat destinations, sunrise wanderings, dive bars, and grilled cheese.

My images have been featured in various gallery shows and both print + digital magazines -- almost all the photography in the articles I write is courtesy of yours truly. A handful of years ago I took a photo while visiting Cuba that served as the jumping off point for my career. "Lady Havana" won an editor's award and was shortlisted in National Geographic's Travel Photographer of the Year contest for 2017.

I contribute photography and words to publications like Travel + Leisure, AFAR, Thrillist, Matador Network, Roadtrippers, Adirondack Life Magazine, TravelPulse, and more. I also work with brands like Danner Boots, Sony, Canon, and others, as well as a wide array of hotels. In 2018, I photographed 5 destinations as the first ever Days Inn Suntern.

When hopping around the globe, you can usually find me shooting dawn + dusk, looking for wildlife, embarking on outdoor exploits, attending quirky festivals, and meandering streets, camera in hand.
